John’s Septic Service is a family owned and operated business serving Harford County, Cecil County and Baltimore County since 1969. It all began when the first John Call started the business with little more than a 1957 Dodge 1 ½ ton truck equipped with a homemade, 1000 gallon steel tank, and enough integrity and old-fashioned work ethic to fill it up, many times over.

John Septic Service is state certified for septic inspections.

Septic Tank Pumping

We perform septic tank pumping on a scheduled basis, but we also offer emergency pumping. Just let us know what you need.

Septic Repair

We offer septic repair services to help you avoid paying more money than you have to. Small septic system problems can often be fixed by replacing pars.

We design and install completely new septic systems for new construction, or to replace a failing septic system. You can count on us for quality work and integrity throughout the process.

More About Us

Septic Haulers, also known as Honey Dippers because our earlier haulers dipped barrels into outdoor toilets to empty them, are now Ministers of Muck. A 4th generation of the family now helps operate John’s Septic Service with gleaming new equipment that offsets the dirty image of old.

Named Ministers of Muck by the local Harford County newspaper and nicknamed Honest John’s by our constituents, we are proud to provide a much needed service. We were also featured in Pumper Magazine as Always Answering the Call.
